NBA superstar Kevin Durant posted the photo of him practicing outside near the Brooklyn Bridge and it evoked all the magic of New York City streetball throughout the years. Durant, who loves to ball beyond all things, looks almost more at home on the asphalt than he does on the hardwood — if such a thing were possible. (He looks pretty darn at home on the Barclay’s Center Court.) The fans went crazy for the opportunity to see KD in the fresh air.
The YES Network and CBS Sports media man with a knack for the perfect pic, Michael Grady, is responsible for the images. And Durant loved these pics as much as any fan, writing “FIRE” in response to the posting and then sharing it himself.
It’s no wonder KD loves Grady’s work. Below is a series of Nets shots (SWIPE AWAY) that show what Grady calls “Locked In Vibes Only”. And it just so happens that “locked in” is the only way Durant plays!
Grady is a man with access, as they say, that goes beyond the job description. Players love him and open up. Check out the Brooklyn superstars sitting down in this series. You can tell Durant is talking to someone he respects.
Brooklyn is looking to start a run that resembles the runs this guy, KD’s pal, went on in 1980s Los Angeles. Go Nets!
