Three-time Oscar nominee Sylvester Stallone (Rocky, Creed) turned 73 in 2019 but he’s far from retiring from acting. After the recent and successful return of his iconic characters Rambo and Rocky — and his recurring role as Barney Ross in The Expendables franchise — Stallone is filming a new sci-fi/fantasy film titled Samaritan.
Check out Stallone on the set in a rain scene above, in which he laughs and says, “I could get swept away in a flood.”
In another rain scene, above, Stallone says he enjoys working in real rain and says, “I haven’t had shower in months, so this is perfect.” He reiterates, “Keeping it real!”
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson replied: “Hardest worker in the room! Have a great shoot, brother.”
Samaritan is about a young boy (Javon “Wanna” Walton) who learns that a superhero (Stallone) who was thought to have gone missing after an epic battle 20 years ago may in fact still be around. The Balboa Productions film will be released on December 11, 2020.
