On Season 8 of My 600-lb Life, the cameras follow a 32-year-old man named J.T. Clark who weighs 892 lbs. It’s reported that J.T. is the second-heaviest person to appear on the show. The heaviest was the late Sean Milliken, who at one point surpassed 1,000 pounds. (Milliken, who lost 400 lbs. with the help of weight loss surgery, died in February 2019 at the age of 29.)

On the My 600-lb Life episode “J.T.’s Story,” the Oklahoma native travels 500 miles to meet with Dr. Nowzaradan in Houston, Texas. J.T. is fortunate to have his girlfriend Jessica by his side but as TLC reports, “when his behavior drives her away, J.T. is left with only Dr. Now to help.” J.T. needs to lose at least 340 lbs. in order to be eligible for weight loss surgery.
