Jessica Simpson is in the news because she’s dropping a new book — Open Book, it’s called — in which she tells her own story straight. And a lot of her story is about how it all went crooked instead of straight, and about how she finally emerged sober and ready from her battle with addiction.
Same old celebrity memoir, you say? Every person’s experience is unique. Safe to say nobody has quite had the same ride as Jessica Simpson.
