King James is usually in the conversation when it comes to who The GOAT is in basketball. Sometimes, the GOAT conversation includes just James and Michael Jordan. Sometimes it includes James, Jordan, Kobe, Wilt, Russell, Magic and Oscar. Depends.
That’s the way these GOAT things work — it’s always impossible to say just who the Greatest of All Time is in anything. But that didn’t stop LeBron James from trying — he just stepped out of the topic of basketball to make his call. And the GOAT is… Dave Chappelle!
Chappelle gave the Lakers some of his seemingly infinite wisdom and the team was all in. James wrote to Chappelle on Instagram: “You’re the ABSOLUTE GREATEST OF ALL TIME in your field for more than just being able to make people laugh! The world with you in it is simply a better place my friend!”
