“Why would I wanna be a rapper, rappers wanna be Shaq,” says the Big Aristotle, The Diesel, The Shaq Daddy et al in a fierce rap aimed at Damian Lillard that is by turns hilarious and on fire with territorial anger.
Oh and it’s done by a Shaq puppet and it is the greatest thing on the internet — by far. This language (warning) is NSFW and definitely NSFD (not safe for Damian). Here goes:
Shaq gets off so many great lines it’s insane. But he basically says he’s the man, and Dame D.O.L.L.A. (as Lillard fashions himself in his hip hop persona) isn’t. Shaq says “Fix your face, this is war!”
Lillard made the mistake of saying, in an interview, that Shaq wasn’t a real rapper. For his part, Dame ain’t backin’ down. He’s responded with his own rap diss — no puppet. And, you know, Lillard is the absolute real deal on the mic. More to come…
