Pat Connaughton is a professional basketball player in the NBA. Connaughton is also a professional baseball player (Baltimore Orioles, minor league status). In other words, dude is an athlete extraordinaire. And my goodness has Connaughton got some righteous hops, too. Connaughton is a major contributor on the Milwaukee Bucks, who went to the Eastern Conference Finals this year riding the massive talents of NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Bucks have chemistry, too. And they’re playing loose, like young talent should.
Connaughton, who owns the highest measured vertical leap ever recorded at the NBA combine, flies through the air catching Giannis by surprise and throwing down a vicious slam. Giannis ducks just in time, so there’s no footage of the big MVP getting “posterized.” Giannis knows exactly who he is and isn’t concerned, smiling and giving a good-natured high five to his tormentor.
