The protagonist of To Have and To Hold is server Alice who bumps into her high school crush Joe Evans (Antonio Cupo) at a catering job she’s working. She can’t believe the dashing, wealthy and successful Joe would choose to marry her, but he does. She willingly allows him to mold her into his ideal socialite wife, but then she finds him cheating on her. Now she has to start all over.
[To Have and To Hold – by Jane Green]
Alice is portrayed by Erika Christensen. She’s best known for her roles on Parenthood (Julia Braverman-Graham), and in films including The Banger Sisters (Susan Sarandon’s daughter Hannah), Swimfan (Madison), and Traffic (Michael Douglas’ daughter Caroline), among others.
The 36-year-old mother of two recently traveled to Death Valley National Park and Yosemite with her husband of three years, cyclist Cole Maness. Their daughter Shane is 3, and daughter Polly will turn one in August. Maness delivered Polly at their home!
