On May 1, pop icon Mariah Carey received the 2019 Billboard Icon Award at the Billboard Music Awards. She performed a medley of her songs on stage in a form-fitting black sequin gown with a thigh-high slit. The 49-year-old singer brought her two children, twins Moroccan (Roc) and Monroe (Roe) Cannon, to the awards show. Their father is Mariah’s ex-husband, singer/actor/TV host Nick Cannon. One day prior to the Billboard Music Awards ceremony, Mariah and Nick celebrated the twins eighth birthday.
For the kids’ big day, dad Nick Cannon wore a bright yellow sweatshirt that read Fashion Junkie across the chest and mom Mariah Carey wore a black t-shirt featuring a shirtless Tupac Shakur exposing his Thug Life tattoo across his abdomen. She wore black leggins, a black leather jacket and black high heel boots, too. Nick Cannon wrote: “Illest 8 year old party I’ve ever been to!!”
