So Ernie Johnson gets to quizzing NBA Legend Charles Barkley about Milwaukee. The Milwaukee Bucks are in the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time in forever, and Barkley likes their chances to win it all. Let’s find out how much Barkley knows about the great city of Milwaukee, Wisconsin then, shall we?
Well, let’s just say after the quiz that Barkley definitely knows more about Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo than he does about Wisconsin history.
But Barkley does vividly remember his own history in Milwaukee, memories triggered by his mug shot from a night out on the town in 1991. Barkley says that was the night he did his “Karate Kid impersonation.” Did Barkley actually take off his shirt to fight the guys that night? Oh, more than that — but it was all part of a strategy.

Barkley reveals: “I took all my clothes off because I had these three guys who were trying to beat me up. I wanted them to think I was crazy. (See? Strategy.)
“I remembered the Karate Kid and these three weightlifters were up on me. I thought they thought I was gonna be crazy. Because it was snowing too. I was improvising, Ernie, I’m like the Marines. But this one guy kept standing right in front of me, Ernie. And I said, Wipe on, wipe off (Barkley’s rendition of “Wax on, Wax off” from the Karate Kid.) Two guys backed up but one fool standing right there and I hit his ass as hard as I could and broke his nose. No shirt, no shoes, no problem.”
