The Frenchman Boris Diaw was an incredibly elegant NBA basketball player. A big man with tremendous vision and timely instincts, he was yet another international superstar on the San Antonio Spurs dynasty teams that featured a bunch of foreign-born talent.
Hey, Tiago Splitter isn’t going to the Hall of Fame, but the Spurs may not win one of their titles without the big Brazilian. Those other two guys on the boat below? That’s point guard extraordinaire Patty Mills by way of Australia and Manu Ginobili, the Argentine wonder who looks to be about to happily hit the surf. This may mark the only time in history Ginobili has been caught off balance.
