In the Growing Up Chrisley episode “The Hollywood Hustle Hits Home,” Chrisley Knows Best star Todd Chrisley surprises his two (almost) adult children, Savannah and Chase, at their posh Los Angeles apartment. Savannah says she wasn’t surprised to see him. (It’s been just two weeks since they left home in Nashville!) When their father asks how things are going, Savannah reports that she’s “getting my brand book built” and has a photoshoot scheduled with a great photographer. Todd seems to approve.

What he doesn’t approve of is the life-size cardboard cut-out photo of her boyfriend, now fiancé, professional hockey player Nic Kerdiles in the kitchen.
“It absolutely freaks me out,” Todd says. He walks over to the picture and tells her, “This is so morbid,” and moves it to the corner. When Savannah tells the photo, “I’ll be back,” her father can’t believe she’s talking to it.
