In the Whiskey Cavalier episode “The Czech List,” the team is sent to Prague, the gorgeous capital city of the Czech Republic, for their first official mission together. There, it’s up to FBI agent Will Chase (Scott Foley) to seduce Karen Pappas, the widow of a notorious shipping tycoon who knows nothing of her husband’s criminal life. Will must gain access to a list of the tycoon’s criminal clients. CIA agent Frankie (Lauren Cohan) doesn’t think Will has what it takes to seduce the woman. But he proves her wrong when he pretends to be a professor in town from Newfoundland.
The tycoon’s widow Karen Pappas is portrayed by Bellamy Young. She’s best known for her role as President Mellie Grant, the former First Lady on Scandal (with Scott Foley!). See link above. Young is also recognized for her pre-Scandal roles on Criminal Minds (Beth Clemmons), Scrubs (Dr. Miller), and Dirty Sexy Money, to name a few. Young will appear next on the Netflix series Dolly Parton’s Heartstrings with Dancing with the Stars judge/dancer Julianne Hough as Jolene. Whiskey Cavalier airs Wednesdays at 10 pm on ABC, right after American Idol.
