On The Big Bang Theory episode “The Conference Valuation,” Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) leaves Wolowitz (Simon Helberg) in charge of the kids while she and Penny go to San Diego for a pharmaceutical sales convention. At the convention, they run into gorgeous sales rep Karen. She appeared on “The Confirmation Polarization” episode. Before Penny accepted the job with Bernie, Penny accused Karen of stealing her yogurt.
Karen is portrayed by Chasty Ballesteros. The Canadian-born model/actress is known for her roles on The Bay (Andrea Collins), The Ranch (Tanya Showers), S.W.A.T. (Deirdre), Lucifer (Isabel Deluca), Star Trek: Renegades (Ronara), How I Met Your Mother (Tina), and The Newsroom (Tea), among others. Fun fact: She made her acting debut in 2009 on Smallville as a nurse. The Big Bang Theory airs Thursdays at 8 pm on CBS, right before Young Sheldon.
