ZuGo Pets is a safety product for people who travel with their pets. It’s a patented dog harness used in the car as a dog seat belt. The Rocketeer Pack, which comes in five sizes (extra small to extra large) is designed for dogs 25 lbs. and under. It also works as a dog backpack – as with a baby harness, the baby or dog can be worn on the back or the front. The founders of ZuGo Pets, Juls Bindi and her business partner Carolyn Shewfelt, demonstrate and pitch ZuGo Pets on Shark Tank on January 27. Kevin O’Leary tries it out.
Bindi, who is a certified massage therapist in Beverly Hills, is also the inventor of the first bag to have five functions in one product. As the founder of ZuGoPet, Bindi was featured on Sexy & Wealthy in Heels, a blog dedicated to “educating, inspiring and featuring women who are smart, sexy and successful.”
When asked “what does being ‘sexy’ mean to you? Bindi replied: “You always need to be yourself regardless of whether you are male or female. It’s best to maintain a high level of professionalism in everything you do and not try to manipulate situations using your sex (unless you are looking for a date)!” New episodes of Shark Tank air Sundays at 9 pm on ABC.
