More than perhaps any other technology company, Apple understands that consumers have five senses — and it works to appeal to all of them. (Yes, even taste of a sort — Apple positions itself as the tasteful choice among tech options.) But as far as ears and eyes are concerned, Apple is the GOAT. It’s long been abundantly clear that nobody else does color and sound nearly as well as Apple. Facebook? Google? Not even close when it comes to titillating the senses.
Apple’s commercial for the iPhone XR (directed by film director Rupert Sanders) expertly uses Parkour athletes and a surge of gorgeous color paired with Cosmo Sheldrake‘s insanely catchy tune “Come Along” — the title of which is basically the goal of every marketing campaign. “Hey consumers, come along!” Apple has convinced more consumers to come along on its storied ride than pretty much any other company in memory.

Sight and sound may be Apple’s domain, but cool Cosmo Sheldrake is pretty good at both, too. Below is the original video for “Come Along” and when you can’t get it out of your head, please blame Cosmo and not us. “Run away from the humdrum” he says. That’s Apple’s advice, too.
