In the Brooklyn Nine-Nine episode “The Tattler,” while Charles (Joe Lo Truglio) tries to help Rosa (Stephanie Beatriz) with her love life, newlyweds Jake (Andy Samberg) and Gina (Melissa Fumero) attend their 20th high school reunion. There they reunite with Mikey who’s portrayed by Paul Rust.
Paul Rust is known as a writer for Arrested Development and the Netflix series Love (in which he also starred). Rust also co-wrote the 2016 Netflix movie Pee-wee’s Big Holiday with Paul Reubens. On camera, the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater alum is also known for his roles in the films Inglourious Basterds (Pfc. Andy Kagan), and I Love You, Beth Cooper (Denis Cooverman, SEE LINK ABOVE), among others. Fun fact: Rust is married to Girls writer and producer and former Brooklyn Nine-Nine writer Lesley Arfin. Brooklyn Nine Nine airs Thursdays at 9 pm on NBC, right after The Titan Games and right before The Good Place.
