On Season 5 of Black Ink Crew: Chicago, after tattoo artist Cobra moved back to Houston, Lily got a different apartment. It came with an extra empty room. When Lily offered it to Bella Tatted and her little girl Lia, Lily admits, “To be honest, I really didn’t think she would take the offer so quickly but I did offer.”
In the episode “Give Me a Smoothie Gina,” when Bella shows up on moving day she’s quick to hand Lia over to Lily. Lily has babysat before, but admits that she doesn’t have that much experience with toddlers. “I forgot about the crying,” she says.

When Bella returns with their stuff she eyes the liquor bottles on the coffee table and sharp knives on the kitchen counter, and tells her new roommate, “Lily, We’re gonna have to baby proof this whole place.” Bella quickly lists off all the things they need to do including putting Lily’s paints away because Lia “loves to paint on walls.” When Lily says, “I didn’t sign up for this, girl,” Bella says, “You’re stuck with us now. Lia might not have her dad but now she has two mommies.” When she walks out of the room with Lia squirming in her arms she tells Lily, “You’re my new wife, I’m gonna marry you.” Black Ink Crew: Chicago airs Wednesdays at 9 pm on VH1, right after Love & Hip Hop: Miami.
