On the Say Yes to the Dress episode “7 People With 7 Opinions,” Kleinfeld bridal consultant and bride dress designer Randy Fenoli meets his biggest fan. She’s a bride and for her appointment, she brings possibly the biggest entourage in Kleinfeld history – seven people! Kleinfeld’s policy on entourages is to normally limit it to just two or three people. Collectively, the bridal dress consultants at Kleinfeld can see up to 93 brides a day. If one bride brings in 15 or 20 people, “there would be no room in the salon and we could break the fire code,” says Randy.

After the bride and her entourage chant Randy’s name upon meeting, Randy asks how she was able to bring in so many people. She explains that seven is her husband’s lucky number: he was born on October 7, and they got married on 7/7/17 (at the courthouse). Their big wedding ceremony is on 7/7/2018. When Randy tells the bride that he’s the youngest of seven kids, she really couldn’t be more excited. See Fenoli family photo below.
He was born and raised on a cattle farm in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. “Where it comes from, I don’t know,” says Fenoli. Neither parent was “creative.” The first dress he made was for his mother. “She wore it to work the next day,” he says. Randy left Illinois to study at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City and thereafter got a design job with Diamond Collection. The rest is history!
