On the Season 6 premiere of When Calls the Heart, “The Greatest Christmas Blessing” (airing Tuesday, Christmas Day, on Hallmark), a group of orphans is stranded in Hope Valley for the holidays. Abigail (Lori Loughlin) and the other residents band together to make it an unforgettable Christmas which the children’s two caretakers, sisters Lillian and Grace, appreciate. (Note to Hearties: Both caretakers will be featured in the forthcoming When Calls the Heart spin-off, When Hope Calls in 2019.)
Caretaker Grace is portrayed by Jocelyn Hudon. The 24-year-old Canadian actress is known for her roles on Ice (Willow), 21 Thunder (Becka Jolie), and The Strain (Abby), among others. Fun fact: Hudon made her debut on the big screen in the Chris Columbus animated film Pixels as Cyber Chick with Adam Sandler and Kevin James. When Calls the Heart airs Tuesdays at 8 pm on Hallmark Channel. The spin-off, When Hope Calls, will premiere in 2019.
