In the Ray Donovan episode “Dream On”, Mickey Donovan (Oscar-winner Jon Voight) visits his wacky former sister-in-law Sandy Patrick. Remember, she was the one who helped Mickey and Bunchy cross the Canadian border (by dressing as a nun and priest) and robbed them blind of $3 million. “She played me kid,” Mickey told Bunchy. Mickey now has Darrell (Pooch Hall) with him and instructs Darrell on how to use a recording machine.
Mickey’s former sister-in-law Sandy Patrick is portrayed by actress Sandy Martin. The stage actress is known for her role on It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia (Mac’s mom), Hand of God (Randy), Big Love (Selma Greene), and in a variety of films including Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri as Sam Rockwell’s mother, Momma Dixon (see photo below), and Napoleon Dynamite as Grandma (SEE LINK ABOVE). Ray Donovan airs Sundays at 9 pm on Showtime.
