Meanwhile, more drama ensues at Ms. Deb’s BBQ, where Deb asks Lil Mama “what happened at the VMAs?” Lil Mama is immediately put on the defensive and says she feels “disrespected” for being asked about that.

Lil Mama (born Niatia Jessica Kirkland) is known for her hit single “Lip Gloss” from her 2008 debut album VYP (Voice of the Young People). One year later, at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, while Jay-Z and Alicia Keys were on stage performing their hit duet “Empire State of Mind,” the native New Yorker Lil Mama got on stage and bobbed her head along even though she was reportedly warned by Beyonce not to do so. Lil Mama caught a lot of heat for crashing the stage and posing with the two superstar artists.
