RounderBum is a line of padded underwear and shapewear designed for men. The founder of RounderBum, Jonathan Diersing of Hollywood, California, pitched his successful retail business on Shark Tank in January 2018. After selling $1 million worth of RounderBum products online, he went into the Tank seeking a $150,000 investment in exchange for 10 percent equity.

As Daymond John said, “That’s a lot of fake man booties!” Diersing brought a pair of twin male models to demonstrate the before and after look when using RounderBum products. Diersing received two offers: one from Robert Herjavec ($150k for 20 percent) and one from Kevin O’Leary — $150k for 5 percent, plus $2 per unit sold until they hit $300,000. Diersing accepted O’Leary’s offer.

After Shark Tank, O’Leary has been cleverly promoting RounderBum. After saying in a CNBC interview that he wears underwear made of 100% Egyptian cotton from Switzerland for $120 a pair, he clarified that when he’s not wearing those, he’s wearing RounderBum. And on Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, O’Leary claimed to wear his RounderBum right after Thanksgiving dinner. See post below. New episodes of Shark Tank air Sundays at 9 pm on ABC.
