In the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit episode “Caretaker,” a family is murdered in their home while asleep. The mother/wife Anna (guest star Sasha Alexander) tells the police the only other person who had a key to their home was their nanny of almost ten years, Delores Alverez (Soleidy Mendez). Anna says Delores “is like family.” In the courtroom, Peter Stone (Philip Winchester) faces his rival from Chicago Justice, defense attorney William “Billy” O’Boyle.

William “Billy” O’Boyle is portrayed by Gary Basaraba. Richard Santoro), and in the films Suburbicon with Matt Damon (Mitch), The Accountant with Ben Affleck (Don), and Fried Green Tomatoes (Grady Kilgore), among others. Fun fact: Basaraba provides the voice of Hefty in The Smurfs movies. Law & Order: Special Victims Unit airs Thursdays at 10 pm on NBC, right after the new sitcom I Feel Bad.
