In the I Feel Bad episode “I Need My Mom,” grandmother Maya (Madhur Jaffrey) ends up in a wheelchair due to an injury. That means she’s unable to watch the kids, Louie (Rahm Braslaw) and Lily (Lily Rose Silver). At first, working parents Emet (Sarayu Blue) and David (Paul Adelstein) are reluctant to hire a babysitter, Anne Mae, but later realize their lives may be better for it.

Anna Mae is portrayed by Sarah Baker. She’s known for her roles on the new Netflix series The Kominsky Method with Alan Arkin and Michael Douglas (she plays Douglas’ daughter), Young Sheldon (Ms. Hutchins), Modern Family (Shirl Chambers), Big Little Lies (Thea Cunningham), and in the films The Campaign with Will Ferrell (Mitzi Huggins, wife of Zach Galifianakis’ character) and Sweet Home Alabama with Reese Witherspoon, among others. I Feel Bad airs Thursdays at 9:30 pm on NBC, right after Will & Grace and right before Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
