On the NCIS: New Orleans episode “Inside Out,” when the team investigates the infiltration of a former IRA bomb-maker in the city, they receive the help of Special Agent Hannah Khoury (Necar Zadegan) who’s stepping in for Pride (Scott Bakula) during his medical leave. He just got shot in the chest; he’s supposed to be resting at home, but you know Pride. And so does Deputy Director Dan Sanchez.
[Watch Gomez as Campos on Madam Secretary]
Deputy Director Dan Sanchez is portrayed by Carlos Gomez. He’s known for his roles on Law & Order True Crime (father Jose Menendez), Madam Secretary (Jose Campos), The Glades (Carlos Sanchez), Shark (Mayor Manuel Delgado), and ER (paramedic Raul Melendez), among others. Gomez will appear next in the 2019 drama The Torture Report with Jon Hamm and Adam Driver. (It’s about CIA agents after 9/11.) NCIS: New Orleans airs Tuesdays at 10pm on CBS, right after the new crime drama FBI.
Fun fact: Gomez played Kevin in In the Heights, Lin-Manuel Miranda’s play, pre-Hamilton. See cast photo below.
