In the Lifetime movie Dangerous Matrimony, a beautiful newly married couple are on vacation (Hawaii!) when danger strikes. The husband, successful business tycoon David Dolan (Rob Mayes, Mistresses), is kidnapped (presumably by pirates) and held for ransom (they want $1 million). It’s up to David’s assistant Portia (who’s smitten with her boss) to negotiate with the kidnappers and figure out who’s behind the abduction. Portia blames the young blond wife, Bridget (Sabina Gadecki, Entourage).
David’s assistant Portia is portrayed by Emily O’Brien. The English-born actress is best known for her role as Jana Fisher on the daytime soap opera The Young and the Restless (2006-2011), for which she was nominated three times for a Daytime Emmy.
