Sanaia Applesauce is a line of gourmet applesauce designed for adults. As Sanaia Applesauce founder Keisha Jeremie explains, all the other apple sauces on grocery store shelves are designed for kids – note the popular applesauce pouches. “I am a grown woman,” says Jeremie, “I am not doing pouches!” So she’s created her own line which comes in eight vegan flavors and in elegant jars. And as a bonus: each jar includes a wedge or two of baked green apple. During Season 10 of Shark Tank, Jeremie pitches her food company and asks for a $150,000 in exchange for 15 percent equity. (A 4-pack of Sanaia 7.75 oz. jars sells for $19.99.)
When not building her applesauce empire, Keisha Jeremie is busy at her day job. In August 2018, after filming Shark Tank, Jeremie joined the fashion house of Tory Burch as Chief People Officer. Prior to Tory Burch, Jeremie was Chief Human Resources Officer for News Corp. for five years, and prior to that was Managing Director and Global Co-Head of Talent Management at Morgan Stanley. As Jeremie says, “I’m a girl from the Bahamas living the American dream as a global head of HR for a Fortune 400 company.” New episodes of Shark Tank (Season 10) air Sundays at 9 pm on ABC.
