In the Season 18 premiere of Hell’s Kitchen, “Rookies vs. Veterans,” eight former contestants battle in the kitchen against eight new contestants. Chef Gordon Ramsay describes the veterans as “sophisticated, calm and more together” and the rookies as “younger, feisty, and determined.” Roe DiLeo from Season 13 is one of the veterans on Team Blue and she hopes to follow in the footsteps of her fellow Texan chef, Michelle Tribble. Tribble first competed on Season 14 and then came back for Season 17 and won. At the age of 24, Tribble was the youngest female to win Hell’s Kitchen since Holli Ulgade in 2010 (Season 7).
