CropSticks is a brand of chopsticks which are made of sustainable, fast-growing bamboo and come with a built-in rest. It’s a clever alternative to the traditional, disposable wooden chopsticks. The founder of CropSticks, Mylen Fe Yamamoto, pitched her business on Shark Tank in April 2017. She went into the Tank seeking an investment of $75,000 in exchange for 12.5 percent equity, however, she did not leave the Tank with a deal.

One year after the Shark Tank episode aired, Cropsticks is now in more than 60 restaurants and distributors including Disney, Hakkasan Group, The Four Seasons, Roy’s, and Walgreens.
