BedRyder is a unique accessory for pick-up trucks. It’s a seating system that adds two passenger seats (with seat belts) to a pick-up truck bed. BedRyder, which weighs 65 lbs. and can work on any truck, is easy to install and uninstall. It’s safe and legal to use in all 50 U.S. States. The sales manager of BedRyder, George Conway of Chattanooga, Tennessee, pitched BedRyder on Shark Tank in March 2015. He went into the Tank seeking an investment of $200,000 in exchange for 15 percent equity. While he got Lori Greiner and Robert Herjavec to try it out, alas, he didn’t get a deal on the show.

But that didn’t keep the inventor of BedRyder, Carey Hyde, from perfecting his patented product. In June 2018, BedRyder launched a series of new upgraded seats which are fully padded and fully reclinable so customers can now store their BedRyder under a Tonneau cover or hang it flat on a garage wall when not in use.
