On The Real Housewives of Dallas episode “Bubbles and Brooding,” Stephanie throws a “Bubbles and Bru” party for her friend Brandi, who just adopted a baby boy named Bru. (The brooding of the title is done by Kameron, who’s not happy about being left in the dark about Brandi’s adoption.) Meanwhile, at D’Andra’s anniversary party, Stephanie is surprised to learn that she’s seated next to LeeAnne. Stephanie says she took the opportunity to try to “make a bridge” with LeeAnne, by being open with her. Stephanie says LeeAnne shared that she had tried to commit suicide four times in her life. Stephanie told LeeAnne she tried to commit suicide when she was 22.
Stephanie says at the time she was with a guy “who didn’t make me feel like a worthy person. I never felt pretty enough or good enough.” When they broke up, Stephanie says “I lost my friends, and I just couldn’t handle it.” She said she found a bottle of pills in a bathroom “and I remember taking them all and laying down on my bed.” Luckily, her mother was in the house. When Stephanie told her what she had done, her mother called for an ambulance. The Real Housewives of Dallas airs Wednesdays at 9pm on Bravo.
