On Season 5 of Love & Hip Hop Hollywood, while things get messy between A1 and Lyrica, Brooke tells Lyrica and Princess that she’s engaged. When Princess asks “to who?” Brooke answers, “Fair enough.” Last season, Brooke spent a lot of time trying to get her boo Marcus Black jealous by hanging out with former NBA basketball player Booby Gibson. But as Brooke tells Princess, they weren’t separated for long. Brooke says when she brought Marcus home for Christmas, to her mother’s in Houston, when Marcus showed the ring to her mom, she “jackmoved it” and put in on her finger. Marcus didn’t propose, but that doesn’t matter to Brooke.
Marcus Black, a military brat growing up, is originally from Chicago. The music producer/songwriter has been supportive of fellow Chicago rapper Nipsey Hussle a lot lately on social media. Marcus says his biggest break was working with Justin Bieber. Now he’s heading up BCMG, Black Collar Music Group.
