In the Good Witch episode “How to Make a Middleton Quilt,” there’s just two weeks left until Cassie (Catherine Bell) and Sam’s (James Denton) wedding day. The town of Middleton throws an engagement party for the happy couple, and Grace (Bailee Madison) enlists the help everyone in town to make a magical quilt. It’s a Middleton tradition, and it’s supposed to grant the wishes of the recipients – even though Sam says his wish has already come true. Awww! In this episode, Cassie reunites with a friend, who’s surprised to learn that Cassie is getting married.
Cassie’s friend is portrayed by Lauren Holly. She’s known for her roles on Motive (Dr. Betty Rogers), NCIS (Jenny Shepard), Chicago Hope (Dr. Jeremy Hanlon), Picket Fences (Maxine Stewart), and in the films Dumb and Dumber (Mary), What Women Want (Gigi), Any Given Sunday (Cindy Rooney), Beautiful Girls (Darin Smalls), and Sabrina (Elizabeth Tyson), among others. Good Witch airs Sundays at 9pm on Hallmark Channel.
