On Season 7 of Million Dollar Listing New York, get ready to see bigger listings, bigger deals and yes more drama. (Hint: There’s a lot of baby talk, and we’re not just talking about new dad Fredrik Eklund.) Steve Gold explains in the premiere episode that it’s a buyer’s market which might be difficult news for Fredrik to break to his celebrity client 50 Cent. (The New York rapper’s house includes an entertainment room with strippers in mind.)
[Plush toy chairs are usually designed for children]
The Manhattan homes are amazing this season. Fredrik tries to sell a townhouse with an 8-foot-deep pool and Adam tries to sell a luxury apartment with a Campana Brothers chair made of stuffed animal sharks and dolphins. The Campana Brothers (Fernando and Humberto Campana) from Brazil are known for making furniture using ordinary materials. Their Dolphins and Sharks Chair was designed in 2002, and had an estimate of $20,000-$30,000 at the 2017 Modern Art & Design Auction at Los Angeles Modern Auctions (LAMA). Million Dollar Listing New York airs Mondays at 10pm on Bravo.
