In the Little Women: LA episode “Welcome to Solvang,” the ladies spend the weekend in Solvang, California. (The town is known for its Danish-style architecture and wineries.) And yes, drama follows them. Jasmine has a terrifying horseback riding experience and Tonya makes a drunken confession about her feelings for her ex-boyfriend and current business associate Jaa. Meanwhile, as Christy and Todd drive daughter Autumn to the airport, Christy pushes Todd’s buttons when she talks about camping.
Todd says he used to like going as a child, “We pitched a tent, like you’re supposed to do.” When Christy says “We don’t do that in California, we glamp,” Todd mocks her and gives his eyes a good roll. Christy has arranged for a glamping date with Todd where everything will be set up for them. “Exactly what Hasani said to do,” Christy says, which has Todd rolling his eyes again and muttering (cursing under his breath).
Autumn is surprised to hear that her parents have been talking to Hasani, the relationship coach. Christy tells Autumn that Hasani said, “We need to do more dates.” When Todd says sarcastically, “What better first date than a luxury RV park?” it’s Christy’s turn to roll her eyes. Christy says ever since she told him that she wanted to get the gastric sleeve surgery that he got last year, things between them have been “way worse.” Little Women: LA airs Wednesdays at 9pm on Lifetime.
