Fresh Patch is a company that makes wee-wee pads for dogs made of hydroponically grown grass. Just like with a paper or cloth mat, you place a Fresh Patch where you want your dog to “go”. The grass absorbs urine and therefore controls the odor of urine. It’s a tool for housebreaking dogs and for city dogs (and cats!) who don’t have access to a backyard. And they deliver!
The founder of Fresh Patch, Andrew Feld of Davenport, Florida, pitched his business on Shark Tank in February 2015. He went into the Tank seeking an investment of $150,000 in exchange for 10 percent equity. He received offers from four out of the five Sharks (Robert Herjavec passed). In the end, Feld made a deal with Barbara Corcoran and Mark Cuban — $150k for 20 percent equity, contingent on getting into retail.

Fresh Patch has expanded its line of products to include a variety of patch sizes – mini, standard, large and extra-large — and a plastic trays and wooden sleeves to hold the patches. Fresh Patch is not in big retail stores like PetSmart or Target yet. [27 Favorite Shark Tank Products at Amazon — New List]
