The judges of America’s Got Talent — Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Mel B, and Howie Mandel — get to watch dozens of talented singers, dancers, daredevils and magicians audition for Season 13. Some acts are scary, some are sweet, some are amazing, and some are just downright hilarious. Israeli Lioz Shem Tov is one of the most clever and hilarious acts to audition on America’s Got Talent.
[Magic for Dummies? Magician Lioz Shem Tov is smarter than that!]
The comedic magician claims to use telekinesis to make everyday objects move. He plays with a measuring tape and then (using telekinesis, or the button on the measuring tape to keep the ruler in place) wills it not to move “in thin air.” He blows bubbles into the air and then waves a hoop around them to prove there are no strings attached. Lioz Shem Tov auditioned for Israel’s Got Talent and got the audience and judges laughing (see below) — will his act do just as well in America? His act seems just right for the times, full of bombast, sheer showmanship and fooling people into believing they are seeing something special. It’s an act that requires perfect delivery: he could go all the way, or he could make himself disappear. America’s Got Talent airs Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
