In the NCIS: Los Angeles episode “Where Everybody Knows Your Name,” the title refers to Deeks’ (Eric Christian Olsen) dream of opening a bar. (It’s a line from the Cheers theme song.) But the episode isn’t all about drinks and dreams. When a Marine is murdered by a rare nerve gas, the NCIS team partners with rookie FBI Agent Zoe Morris. Her enthusiasm is not infectious according to old school agents Callen (Chris O’Donnell) and Hanna (LL Cool J).
[Cehck out Way in The Handmaid’s Tale on hulu]
Rookie FBI Agent Morris is portrayed by Erin Way. Way is known for her roles on The Handmaid’s Tale (Erin), Colony (Linsey), Bones (Charlene Fisher), Supernatural (Michelle Tilghman), Code Black (Debbie Eldrich), Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (Petra Larsen), and Alphas (Kat), among others. Fun fact: Way is married to actor Chris Connor (Poe on Netflix’s Altered Carbon, Jeffrey Toobin on American Crime Story, Versace. NCIS: Los Angeles airs Sundays at 9pm on CBS, right after Instinct and right before Madam Secretary.
[NOTE about streaming: Cable cutters can watch a live stream of any CBS show through Amazon Prime or CBS ALL-ACCESS. Both options offer free trials.]
