In the NCIS episode “Fallout,” Gibbs (Mark Harmon) goes to the memorial service for his friend, Navy Captain Phillip Brooks (Don Lake), who was lost at sea. At the service, he has a one-on-one talk with Brooks’ wife — now widow — Marcy. She tells “Jethro” that he shouldn’t have been sailing in that weather. She asks “Jethro” for a favor, to take her husband’s tools. Gibbs promises to take a look in the basement – where he accidentally finds a fallout shelter…that’s in use!
Brooks’ wife Marcy is portrayed by actress Susan Walters. She’s known for her roles on The Fosters (Eliza’s mother), Teen Wolf (Natalie Martin), The Vampire Diaries (Carol Lockwood), The Young and the Restless (Diane Jenkins), One Tree Hill (Principal Rimkus), Point Pleasant (Meg Kramer), Melrose Place (Tiffany Hart/Christine Denton – see link above), Dear John (Mary Beth Sutton), and Hotel (Ryan Thomas), among others. NCIS airs Tuesdays at 8pm on CBS, right before NCIS: New Orleans.
