In the Brooklyn Nine-Nine episode “NutriBoom,” NYPD detective Jake Perolta (Andy Samberg) has a lot on his plate. Not only is his newly discovered half-sister Katie (guest star Nasim Pedrad, New Girl), but he also realizes that he’s been suckered into the NutriBoom pyramid scheme. At least he’s not alone in the scheme. His partner Charles (Joe Lo Truglio) got suckered into it too.
Angela, the NutriBoom saleswoman, is portrayed by Christine Garver. She’s known for her roles on Madam Secretary (Molly Reid), The Middle (Colleen), Stitchers (Dr. Jamison Barrett), NCIS (Tiffany Leonne), Mad Men (Moira), and The Mentalist (Natalie Gibecki), among others. Brooklyn Nine-Nine airs Sundays at 8:30pm on FOX, right after The Simpsons.
