In the Brooklyn Nine-Nine episode “The Box,” NYPD Detective Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg) interrogates murder suspect Philip Davidson. Jake tries all night to elicit a confession out of Davidson, who was the last person to see the victim, but Davidson is unflappable. When Captain Holt (Andre Braugher) gets ahold of the situation he skips the opera to help Peralta. The two cops clash over how to get Davidson to talk.
