In the Chicago Fire episode “When They See Us Coming,” Firehouse 51 is taken over by the FBI. After sealing the doors of the firehouse, Riordan explains that a criminal who killed a federal agent is expected to show up at a residence across the street from the firehouse. Not everyone is thrilled with the takeover. But Casey (Jesse Spenser) and Severide (Taylor Kinney) volunteer to help with the investigation which gets the firefighters in over their heads.

FBI Agent Riordan is portrayed by Chance Kelly. The 6’3″ tall actor is known for playing law enforcement and military roles. He’s recognized for his roles on Aquarius (Det. Ed Cutler), Power (Collins), Army Wives (Col. John Reddick), General Kill (Lt. Col. Stephen “Godfather” Ferrando), and in the films American Sniper (Lt. Col. Jones) and The Taking of Pelham 123 (ESU Captain), among others. Before becoming an actor, Kelly played college football and fought in the NYC Golden Gloves. On top of that, Kelly holds a BA from NYU and a MS from Columbia University. Chicago Fire airs Thursdays at 10pm on NBC.
