Spy Escape and Evasion is a survival training business lead by former CIA Agent Jason Hanson. He pitched his business on Shark Tank in February 2014 and made a deal with the adventurous Daymond John — $150,000 for 45 percent. Although John was initially against the idea of opening a “Spy Ranch” — a place where customers can learn Evasive Driving and Pistol and Rifle Shooting, among other things — Hanson persevered and offered two-day stays at the 320-acre ranch for $2400.
Hanson has been busy since his appearance on Shark Tank in 2014. He published a New York Times-bestselling book Spy Secrets That Can Save Your Life (see link above), and in October 2016 Hanson performed a one-man show in Las Vegas called “Spy Escape & Evasion.” Guess what? After that Hanson was offered a one-year engagement at the Stratosphere Hotel Theater.
