Britney Holmes is the 28-year-old vocal coach from Frisco, Texas competing for a spot on American Idol. For her audition she sang the Whitney Houston song “I Have Nothing.” All three judges agreed that Britney has a great voice but they weren’t sure if she was ready for the competition. Lionel Richie urged her to sing with more feeling. Britney left the audition without a golden ticket but was then given another chance. Maybe the judges got a peek at Britney’s “Versace on the Floor” video. (It’s a cover of the Bruno Mars song.) In the video, Britney appears nude on a bed with a soft blanket strategically wrapped around her body. She exudes emotion alright — mostly desire for a man who joins her in the video (which has more than 3 million views!). There’s even a steamy shower scene.
