In the Living Biblically episode “False Idols,” Chip (Jay R. Ferguson) is told by his “God Squad” — Father Gene (Ian Gomez) and Rabbi Gil (David Krumholtz) — that he’s addicted to his smartphone. They compare his addiction to worshiping a false idol. Chip tries to make things right by taking things to the extreme. He stops using his phone all together which causes confusion and concern among his officemates at the newspaper and his wife Leslie.
Chip’s wife Leslie is portrayed by Lindsey Kraft. The former model is known for her roles on Netflix’s Gracie and Frankie (Allison, see photos below), HBO’s Getting On (Marguerite Macaw), and Dating Rules from My Future Self (Tara Reed), among others. Living Biblically airs Mondays at 9:30pm on CBS, right after Superior Donuts.
