Leo DiCaprio is set to star in Quentin Tarantino’s next film, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood. If that’s not good enough for you, Brad Pitt will play DiCaprio’s body double. That’s the skinny on the new Tarantino joint, which will be set in 1969 and revolve around actress Sharon Tate, before she met her horrific fate at the hands of Charles Manson’s followers. DiCaprio worked with Tarantino on Django Unchained and Pitt worked with the famous director on Inglorious Basterds. Many consider those two performances among the best in each actor’s career.

But it was not Django Unchained that won DiCaprio his long sought-after Oscar; DiCaprio was named best actor for The Revenant, a 2015 film seemingly designed to deliver the Academy Award. Tarantino’s Once Upon A Time In Hollywood is due out summer of 2019 and will shoot mid-2018. Rumors put Margot Robbie in the Tate role and also tease that Tom Cruise will appear. Sony Pictures won a bidding war to Tarantino’s film, which had the working title #9. DiCaprio hasn’t appeared in a film since winning the Oscar for The Revenant.
