On the Sister Wives episode “Meeting Mariah’s Girlfriend,” Meri Brown‘s one and only child with Kody, Mariah, comes home with her girlfriend Audrey Kriss. The 22-year-old invites her moms Meri and Janelle to join them for the March for Women in Washington, D.C. Kody does not approve. They don’t see each other too often, but Mariah understands that “we all have our own lives” and while “it sometimes makes me sad,” she says, she’s learned to enjoy the small moments together.

After coming out as gay last year, Mariah has made a point of recording her journey on Instagram. Since May 2017, she’s been posting photos of herself leading a healthy lifestyle. She’s been getting back in the gym, working as a representative for the active lifestyle clothing line Zyia, and she’s now applying to graduate schools. “If I’m not working, in the gym, or hanging out with my doggies, I’m working on grad school applications” which she says is “stressful.” See post below.
