In the Black Ink Crew episode “See Ya, Korea”, the crew is still in Seoul, South Korea. When not helping Young Bae search for her missing mom, her friends from New York take in the local culture. At a late night club, they’re surprised to see how good Koreans are at breakdancing. Sky brags about taking home the best dancer from the club which leads to an awkward conversation the next day at lunch. (Sky uses chopsticks and an empty straw wrapper to demonstrate a sexual innuendo.) But the conversation really heats up with Bae joins the crew at the restaurant and drops the bomb, “I’m pregnant.” She says she hasn’t told her boyfriend Rob yet. And while she knows she has to tell him, she says “I have to find my mom first.”
Sky says she’s having a hard time believing Bae and the drama around her. Sky points out that they haven’t met anyone from Bae’s life in Korea. “I haven’t met your best friend, your mother’s cousin, some one you went to school with, your teacher.” Sky says it’s not adding up. “This is like something I watch on Netflix!” Meanwhile, Donna tells Bae not to stress and Kit says with a smile, “We got a new baby on the way. It’s exciting.” While Bae didn’t seem excited about the news at first, she is now. See her flaunting her 22-week pregnant body below. Black Ink Crew airs Wednesdays at 9pm on VH1.
