In the black-ish episode ‘Working Girl,’ Dr. Bow Johnson (Tracee Ellis Ross) returns to work after maternity leave. She just had her fifth child but that doesn’t mean Bow has gotten any better at adjusting to the separation. At the hospital, she’s welcomed back with a cake. She shows photos of her newborn baby to her colleagues including Dr. Evan Windsor. And then things get awkward.
Dr. Evan Windsor is portrayed by Andy Daly. He’s known for his roles on Silicon Valley (Doctor), Modern Family (Principal Brown), Reno 911! (Brad the Friendly Homeowner and Coach Brad Petrie), and MADtv (Dick Cheney), among others. Daly is also recognized for his roles in films including Semi-Pro (Dick Pepperfield, see link above), and in the CarMax TV commercials, see below. Black-ish airs Tuesdays at 9pm on ABC, right after Fresh off the Boat.
